Hi, I’m Michael and I am currently a co-stylist at studio | el mar. I have been in the industry for 3 years and completed a full-time apprenticeship program for Marin - a position I could have only dreamed of when I first embarked on my journey to become the absolute best hairstylist I can be. Assisting Marin provided me with a tremendous amount of opportunity to expand my knowledge of all things hair and the beauty industry - including how to provide luxury, sustainable and non-toxic services to my clientele. Now being on my own, I am building and sustaining my brand along side her in our micro salon studio | el mar.
I am passionate about providing the highest level of service, care, and results to each and every client that sits in my chair. I believe that everyone deserves to have hair that they LOVE! One of the main focuses of my service is perfecting our signature ‘Five STARR’ guide to client experiences - a tried & true approach to ensuring a luxurious and consistent level of client care that has made her such a stand-out stylist in the industry. I specialize in hair extensions, platinum and blonding services, lived in signature color melts as well as long haircuts.

I share in Marin’s mission to make our client’s hair dreams a reality while providing them with the most effective and non-toxic products that are not only great for their hair, but for the environment as well! I am so grateful for the opportunity to continue teaching my clients about this and I’m looking forward to providing the same level of expertise and professionalism that I learned in my apprenticeship! I feel so much excitement for what the future holds in this career and am dedicated to providing my clients with hair that is just as beautiful as they are!
